Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently made headlines after he shared a picture of him taking a lift from a stranger. His helmet-less picture miffed several netizens who reached out to Mumbai Police asking them to take action against the superstar. However, Big B, later, clarified that he wasn’t actually going anywhere on the bike and that he was shooting on the street. Now, the veteran actor has yet again unleashed his funny side as he posted a photo of him standing beside a Mumbai Police car.

It was Amitabh’s caption that caught everyone’s attention. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Piku actor posted his picture where he is seen posing next to a Mumbai Police van. Sharing this shot, the actor wrote in the caption, “arrested.” The veteran star also has a serious expression on his face. He looked dapper in a checkered shirt, black pants, and white shoes. His caption left the internet in splits, while many showered love on the actor, a few others cracked hilarious jokes. Reacting to the photo, one user commented, “Highly Unlikely! Notably, many of his fans made reference to Amitabh’s super-hit film Don, while reacting to his recent picture. One of the fans wrote, “This picture debunks the decade long myth - Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai.” Another commented, “Aakhir Kar Don ko Mumbai Police ne pakad Liya.” 

Meanwhile, the 80-year-old had recently issued a clarification over his picture of riding a bike without a helmet and explained that he did not go anywhere it was his shoot location. He wrote on his blog, “The fact of the matter is that this is on location shoot on the street of Mumbai .. It is Sunday .. formal permission taken for shoot at a lane in Ballard Estate .. permission sought for Sunday because all offices are shut and there is no public or traffic ..One lane in the region BLOCKED off by Police permission for shoot .. the lane barely 30-40 meters .. The dress I wear is my costume for the film ..” 
 Work-wise, the superstar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film titled ‘Section 84’, which is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
