Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri had made a name for herself as a renowned interior designer. Over the years, under her home decor company, Gauri Khan Designs, she has renovated many homes. From Bollywood celebrities to Indian businessmen, she loves to create comfortable yet luxurious spaces for her clients. Days after a man filed an FIR against her in Lucknow, she was brutally trolled on the internet for selling basic daily-use things for ridiculously higher prices.
According to a post published on Reddit, Gauri’s company priced their simple grey dustbin for Rs 15,340. A shell-styled lamp for Rs. 1.5 lakhs and a penguin sculpture for Rs 12,390. Sharing the screenshot of the products from her website, a redditor on the sub-reddit r/BollyBlindsNGossip, wrote, “Hainji? What do y'all think?” ALSO READ: SHOCKING! Netizens are having blast, trolling the interior designer for the ridiculous pricing of her products. One said, “I accidentally bought a dustbin worth 500 rupees last week from D Mart. Couldn't get it out of my head for 2 days.” Another one said, “No matter how rich you are, why would you spend 15k on dust bin? Maybe it’s just my middle class brain that can’t accept this.” Other one said, “15,000 ka dustbin?? This is not the first time Gauri has been trolled. She often makes it to the headlines for being mocked by the internet for her dressing sense.
Talking about the FIR, it was filed by Jaswant Shah in Lucknow under section 409 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code. His complaint alleged that he bought a flat in Lucknow under the influence of Gauri but the company failed to deliver possession of his flat in time. He lodged a complaint not only against Gauri but also against Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited CMD Anil Kumar Tulsiyani and its director Mahesh Tulsiyani.
