What Was Salman Khan’s Ex-Manager Reshma Shetty Doing At Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat?

Reshma Shetty is the woman credited with turning around Salman Khan’s career, taking him from a withering action hero to a superstar with an unblemished box-office report.

No wonder then that when Reshma and Salman finally ended their professional equation earlier this year, it grabbed headlines.

And last week we were surprised when we saw Reshma driving into Salman’s foe-turned-friend Shah Rukh Khan’s Bandra bungalow, Mannat.

And she was not alone. Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar were by her side. Reshma manages Alia and she was there to discuss Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film which is being directed by Aanand L.Rai.

The role had been offered to Alia but her date diary was already full and she politely told the makers that she could not accommodate their shooting schedule.

The film’s cast has been akin to a game of musical chairs. The actresses whose names have been picked up and then dropped for the two female leads include Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma.

And with Alia too walking away from the project, the makers of the film, which will see Shah Rukh play a dwarf, have now gone to Kareena Kapoor.

Kareena is currently on maternity leave after welcoming son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi with husband Saif Ali Khan.

For now, Kareena will return to face the archlights with Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding, co-starring Sonam Kapoor.

So will we see Kareena paired with King Khan once again? Let’s wait and watch.
