Yami Gautam is one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood. She has successfully carved a niche for herself in the industry. Yami recently began shooting for her upcoming thriller 'A Thursday'. The makers announced the same on Twitter.

Taking to Twitter, they wrote, "Breaking News: A series of unforgettable events are about to come your way, all that happened on #AThursday #FridaysWithRSVP." Apart from Yami Gautam, 'A Thursday' also stars Neha Dhupia, Dimple Kapadia, Maya Sarao and Atul Kulkarni. The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's banner RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films. Yami will be seen essaying the role of Naina Jaiswal, an intelligent playschool teacher. The film will see Yami playing a grey character for the first time. Fans of the actress are eagerly looking forward to the film.

The movie is written and directed by Behzad Khambata. Yami made her TV debut in Chand Ke Paar Chalo and later appeared in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kum. She made her debut in Bollywood opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Vicky Donor. Post that, she went on to appear in films like Badlapur, Kaabil, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Bala.

Apart from A Thursday, Yami will also be seen in Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur starrer Dasvi. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Sandeep Leyzell and Shobana Yadav. The beautiful actress will play the role of Jyoti Deswal in the same. Abhishek will essay the role of Ganga Ram Chaudhary, whereas Nimrat will play Bimla Devi.
