Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal's Raazi has taken the box-office by storm. The film is raking in the moolah from all corners, and the makers are happily running their way to the bank. Raazi's total collections at the moment stand at Rs 39.24 Cr approx at the moment.
All performances are being praised, and the story and plot are being hailed as one of the best to have come out this year. Amidst all this good word-of-mouth, director Meghna Gulzar has taken to social media to share a video of how they actually made the vision become reality.
She captioned the video as: "This is how we did it... 1971 in 2017. #Raazi. - http://bit.ly/1971_Raazi @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @Jaiahlawat @vineetjaintimes @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @JungleePictures @DharmaMovies @RaaziHoon (sic)."
In the making video, you can see how the crew mounted the era of 1971 in 2017, while shooting for the flick. While they didn't want things to look like they were recreated, they also wanted to keep the authenticity of the whole set alive.
There were also situations when some of the vintage cars used for the shoot wouldn't start, and the whole cast would be sitting and waiting for them.
The video surely gives an insight into how the film, with over 200 people in the crew, was brought to life.
In the video, the lead stars of the film - Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal - are seen sharing their experiences while shooting the spy thriller.
