Cannes 2019: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Repeats Sonam Kapoor’s 2018 Christmas Candy Look
Sonam Kapoor is always setting the trend. It won’t be wrong to say that the fashionista is always a step ahead of others when it comes to fashion. Here’s a latest example of the same. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked beautiful in her red and white striped Leal Daccarett dress but the Neerja actress had worn a similar dress, with identical print, last year at the French Riviera
Red and white stripes seem to be a favourite among our Bollywood ladies who attend the Cannes Film Festival. You may recall, last year we told you how Huma Qureshi and Sonam Kapoor ended up wearing the Christmas candy combination at the French Rivera. And now, this year Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose the same.
Now, some may feel that Aishwarya repeated the look and wore something Sonam aleady flaunted in 2018, but we say, no big deal! Aishwarya’s Leal Daccarett flowy number is a stunner and the actress looks absolutely gorgeous in it.

Talking about Sonam and Aishwarya’s yesterday’s avatars, a few minutes back, we brought to you a fashion report on the same. While Mrs Ahuja attended the Chopard dinner donning a royal look, Aishwarya chose a grand white gown for the red carpet. Although I felt probably Sonam was a little overdressed for a gala dinner, yet I quite liked how she merged the saree look with a contemporary gown by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Aishwarya, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing with her feathered gown by Ashi Studio. It looked confused and chaotic. And the white strappy heels just gave an overdose of white.
