You'll Want To Drape Yourself In Boss Lady Kangana's Saris
Kangana Ranaut has been giving off some serious vintage vibes while promoting Rangoon
You Wore WHAT!?
In Rangoon, Kangana Ranaut plays an actress from the 1940s.
And you know how actors and actresses tend to dress up like their characters or
chose clothes that invoke the vibe of the film they are promoting? Well, I
wasn't a big fan of this trend until Kangana stepped out to promote Rangoon. True
to the film's era and mostly her own style sensibilities, Kangana has been
hitting the promotional circuit in saris that are all about vintage glam.

This sari by Péro married the unique combination of checks
and bandhani. Kangana accessorised with earrings from Viange Vintage.

On the sets of Indian Idol, Kangana wore a cocktail midnight
blue sari by Falguni and Shane Peacock. I cannot get over the intricate
detailing on the blouse and sari. Kangana added vintage flair by styling her
hair in retro waves.

This 'forbidden garden' sari by Péro could have easily
belonged to any erstwhile princess. I love the colour and Kangana's simple
styling. It had subtle elegance written all over it.

A few days before Valentine's Day, Kangana wore this Galang Gabaan
sari with hearts on it. Not my favourite but I love the vintage-inspired blouse
with tiny ruffles.

This beige sari was a classic Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla which
she wore on The Kapil Sharma Show. It was understated yet it looked lovely on
TV thanks to all the work on the sari.

For another TV appearance, Kangana picked this Shades of
India sari. This floral sari gave off some major vintage vibes. Like you
totally could see a maharani wearing this and alighting from her shining Rolls Royce
while attending a polo match.

Now this one could have easily been a sari that has been
passed down from generation to generation. Kangana gave it a contemporary touch
by styling the blouse with a deep back and thin straps. She accessorised with a
multi strand pearl necklace. And is there anything more vintage than a pearl
necklace?
