Anna Faris Reveals She Ignored Warning Signs In Marriage With Chris Patt; Opens Up On Divorce From The Actor: 'In Hindsight, It Felt Like My Hand Was Forced'

Hollywood actors Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were one of the most adored couples around the globe until they decided to split and go separate ways. Anna Faris recently spoke about both her divorces with Chris Patt on her podcast Anna Faris is Unqualified. While speaking with The OC fame Rachel Bilson, Faris also spoke about ignoring warning signs in her relationship with Pratt. The Scary Movie actress also opened up on not sharing marital problems with friends, in her relationship with Chris Pratt.
During the interaction, Anna Faris revealed what her takeaway is from her split. Talking about it, she said, “For me, I think after every breakup, at some point I realise that there were a lot of things I ignored that I really shouldn't have. In hindsight, it felt like my hand was forced. I don't think it was ever an independent decision.”Opening up on ignoring marital problems and keeping them a secret from friends, Faris said, “I think it stunted me in a lot of ways. One of them being that I never talked about any issues, so to the people, even who I was closest to, I'm sure things were more transparent with my relationship with Ben, but with Chris, I think that we both protected that imagery even within our close circles.”
During the episode, Anna Faris spoke to a called who told her about breaking off her engagement. In her reply, the actor said, “I really feel like calling off an engagement is a smarter, stronger, braver move than what I did. Which was like, well, I guess everyone is expecting this, so let's just go through with it.”
Meanwhile, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were married for eight long years. They are parents to a son Jack, born in 2012. The actors divorced in 2018. Post that, in 2019, Pratt got married to author Katherine Schwarzenegger, with whom he has a daughter, Lyla. Faris is engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett, currently.
