Florida Teen Who Hacked Accounts Of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Elon Musk And Others Sent To Jail For 3 Years; Deets Inside
The high school student 'Graham Ivan Clark' who was arrested for hacking Twitter accounts of many big personalities like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Floyd Mayweather, Elon Musk, Bill Gates and others has officially been sentenced for 3 years. Yes, you read that right! For the uninitiated, Graham Ivan Clark briefly took over the social media handles of celebs, tech billionaires, as well as Joe Biden last year, calling on followers to send payment in Bitcoin, which would be doubled and sent back as part of the celebs' bid to give back to the community amid the COVID crisis.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Graham Ivan Clark has agreed to a plea deal of three years in prison, followed by three years probation for his role in the scam. The florida teenager ended up collecting up to $117, 000 from the ploy, but he was soon tracked by the authorities and held in custody, and on Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to thirty counts of communications fraud and other felony crimes.

For the unversed, Graham Ivan Clark was 17 at the time of the hack and was sentenced as a youthful offender, which helped him avoid a minimum of ten year sentence. He will be hit with all ten years if he violates the terms of his probation. Graham was able to do all the hacking by somehow convincing a Twitter employee that he worked in the company's IT department, which then granted him access to their customer service portal.

As per reports, two other suspects, Nima Fazeli and Mason Sheppard, were also arrested and charged last year in connection to the hacking spree.
