Check out the new trailer and poster for Twentieth Century Studios’ epic adventure-comedy directed by Shawn Levy, Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi. Free Guy opens in theatres soon. In Free Guy, a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.
Ryan Reynolds shared the trailer on his Instagram account, he wrote, “Free Guy! Finally! On August 13th, find out what @JodiemComer or @TaikaWaititi put inside me. In the movie, not in real life. (But I’m checking right now just in case. Will update later.) #FreeGuy” The movie will be released on August 13, 2021, and going by trailer it will definitely pull the attention of video-gamer lovers on its release. Also, the trailer promises the movie to be a visual treat as it will take the 90s kids to their childhood days.
Some of the video gaming world’s most influential figures drop in for cameos in Free Guy, including Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Daniel “DanTDM” Middleton.
