Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez call it quits. As per reports in E! News the singer released a statement confirming their split. Though in the last few months there were speculations of the couple’s relationship hitting a rough patch, the singer remained in denial and rubbished the rumours whenever quizzed. In her statement, she shared that they would remain friends and work together as well. Further thanking everyone for their support.
Her statement read, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.” Their romance had set some romantic goals, as the couple shared a lot of their candid moments on social media.
The news of their split had hit the internet stating Rodriguez was romantically involved with Madison LeCroy, followed by Madison's interview with Page Six where she confirmed that though she had spoken to Alex on the phone, they have never met. Meanwhile, a source close to Alex had also shared that he never met her and didn’t know her.
