Johnny Depp Marks His Grand Instagram Debut With An Announcement Of A Album With A Cover Of John Lenon's Isolation
Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp makes his debut on the Instagram platform, drops 2 posts in the first go! Ends up getting 1.8 million followers in 24 hours. He also announced his album with a cover of John Lenon's isolation.
Look who has joined the social networking platform! Hollywood actor Johnny Depp finally makes his debut on the most popular social media platform, Instagram. The first post of the actor was unlike others as it promised a second post already in the making for his followers. In his first post we saw the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald actor, possibly seated in a backyard having an old-world charm and a couple of candles lit and placed on the table and in front of him.
He shared this image with the caption, “Hello everyone... filming something for you now... gimme a minute” Followed by came his second post which was 8-minute 16-second video. He begins the video by sharing with the netizens of this being his first ever experience on social media. Later he spoke about the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and how we all need to stay strong. In a typical Johnny Depp style and with his trademark baritone voice, Depp made across a point on the times we are facing. He also touched upon how one can entertain kids under isolation.
He captioned his second post as, “Isolation". With that, he announced his collaboration with Jeff Beck for an album with a cover of John Lenon's Isolation. Jeff Beck on his Instagram announced the collab and said, "Given all the hard days and true ‘isolation’ that people are going through in these challenging times, we decided now might be the right time to let you all hear it. You’ll be hearing more from Johnny and me in a little while, but until then we hope you find some comfort and solidarity in our take on this Lennon classic.”
