Oscars 2021 are currently creating a huge buzz and everyone is waiting to know who will win the prestigious award this year. The 93rd Academy Awards is scheduled to take place on Sunday. The nominations for the 93rd Academy Awards were announced on March 15 by the hosts of this year's event, global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas. The nominations created a huge buzz and as we are closer to the big event, fans still can't just calm!

The nomination list made buzz for multiple reasons. The filmmaker Chloe Zhao (Nomadland) is the first Chinese woman and the first woman of color to be nominated for best director. Steven Yeun (Minari) is the first Asian-American up for best actor, and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) is the first Muslim performer in that category. WHEN: The Oscars will take place on Sunday, April 25. However, Indian viewers will be able to watch it on April 26 starting at 5.30 am and ending at 8.30 am.

WHERE TO WATCH: Although the Oscars will be an in-person event, it will be live-streamed for audiences to adhere to social distancing norms due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
