Rihanna has been scaling great heights professionally and was nominated for an Oscar for the first time in her career. On Sunday, as she prepared to perform ‘Lift Me Up’ at the 95th Academy Awards, the singer posted a series of super cute pictures of her ten-month-old son.
The latest pictures come weeks after RiRi announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime performance and her official due date is yet to be announced.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Rihanna shared a few snaps of her little bundle of joy, featuring him weeping. The singer wrote, "My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him". Rihanna’s boyfriend and the baby’s father wrote, "MR. MAYERS" and dropped a red heart in the comments area.
One of the pictures featured Rihanna’s son sitting on her lap as they watched the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ music video.
For those unversed, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features a song Rihanna, and was nominated for Best Original Song at the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Rihanna shared that she and her boyfriend did not hire babysitters when they brought their newborn son home from the hospital. She said, “We came home [from the hospital], cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you’re a zombie for the most part.”
The Umbrella singer is expecting her second baby with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Speaking about her first child RiRi told People magazine: “I'm living for my son. Everything matters now. You really start to take a lot into account. Everything is different, life before my son seems very obscure. It's very small and cloudy, it just got better with him.”
