When Apple TV+ was launched in 2019, one of its main attractions was ‘The Morning Show’ and it was also one of its biggest hits. The show had a star-studded cast and was immediately renewed for the second season, one week after its release. The show marked the return of Jennifer Aniston back to TV along with Reese Witherspoon and other terrific actors forming the ensemble cast. It has nearly been 2 years since the first season of the show, and fans have been eagerly waiting for its next season. However, the second season was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
RELEASE DATE: The release date Of The Morning Show season 2 has not yet been announced, but is likely to release on the streaming platform in 2021. The shooting has been going on since October 2020 but has been delayed due to the pandemic. The shooting for season 2 of The Morning Show had to be brought to a halt in March 2020, before resuming once again in October 2020.
CAST: Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powley, Karen Pittman, and Desean Terry will return once again in the new season. The new cast members include comedian Hasan Minhaj and Juliana Marguiles. We shall not see Gugu Mbatha Raw as her character had died in the first season. As Deadline reported about Hasan Minhaj joining the cast, the comedian shared the news on his Instagram, and wrote, “A new chapter. Can’t wait for y’all to see the new season of @themorningshow! Thx for having me @reesewitherspoon, @jenniferaniston, @mimi.leder, @kerry_ehrin_.” Deadline reported that Greta Lee and Ruairi O’Connor were also added to the cast, and will be seen in season 2.
