“Sacred Games 2 Allowed Me To Tick Many Things Off My List,” Says Samir Kocchar
Actor and TV presenter Samir Kocchar is on a roll. The actor is all thrilled and excited for the second season of Sacred Games, which is all set to premiere on August 15, 2019. Sharing and spilling beans about the upcoming season, he said Sacred Games 2 has allowed him to tick off several things from his list which includes an opportunity to work on a platform like Netflix, to share screen space and learn from actors like Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, collaborating with Phantom films and lastly lesson learnt from the director.

He said, "Bahot saare jo aap ke liye rights hote hai life mein wo meri liye kaafi tick marks ho gaye. Ek toh Phantom ke saath kaam karna, Netflix platform pe ek show pe kaam karna, Neeraj Ghaywan, Vikram Motwane ke saath kaam karna, Saif Ali Khan ke saath kaam karna, Nawaz ke saath. Toh matlab bahot achcha experience raha hai mere liye. I'm very happy I'm a part of this show. "


Samir Kocchar plays SPI Markand in the series; his character has some mysterious shades, which will grip the audience’s attention. The actor also shared about how he chooses his scripts and roles, he stated that he selects the biggest the nicest one. Also he will be next seen in the web series titled TypeWriter portraying a role of Peter Fernandez, it is a horror drama directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

While season 1 saw director Vikramaditya Motwane directed Sartaj Singh’s plot, in season 2 Neerja Ghaywan took over to direct Sartaj’s track, making us more excited, keeping in mind his previous work on celluloid.  Neeraj is one of the directors on Samir Kocchar’s wishlist.

Sacred Games 2 stars Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Surveen Chawla, Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
