After The Game Of Thrones’ Prequel With Naomi Watts Gets Shelved; Makers Of GoT Announce Another Prequel Titled ‘House of The Dragon’
Just when fans thought that Game of Thrones 8, which supposedly ended on an abrupt note, was the last part of this much popular fantasy series, the makers have now announced its prequel. Taking to their social media account, the official account of Game of Thrones has revealed that the show’s prequel titled House of The Dragon will officially air on HBO. It is going to be based on George RR Martin’s novel called Fire and Blood, and he, along with Ryan Condal, will be serving as the creator of this prequel.

Well, this update comes after the speculations of another GoT prequel, which was supposed to star actress Naomi Watts, getting shelved by the makers. Reportedly, it got shelved due to lengthy post-production on the pilot and all the issues that occurred during the show’s filming in Northern Ireland. The official of GoT, in their tweet, wrote, "#HouseOfTheDragon, a #GameofThrones prequel is coming to @HBO. The series is co-created by @GRRMSpeaking and Ryan Condal. Miguel Sapochnik will partner with Condal as showrunner and will direct the pilot and additional episodes. Condal will be writing the series." Further, they also shared the official logo of House of The Dragon.
