Ankita Lokhande To Do A Comeback With Pavitra Rishta's Digital Sequel, Sushant Singh Rajput's Character Will Be Played By A New Actor- EXCLUSIVE
Contrary to the reports that the digital sequel of the show, Pavitra Rishta will have new leads, SpotboyE.com has it that Ankita Lokhande will be returning to the show as Archana
Television's one of the most long running shows Pavitra Rishta is all set to come up with a sequel now. The show which starred Late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in the lead roles got over in 2014, after a successful run of 5 years. And after Sushant Singh Rajput's death last year, buzz was strong that the makers will come up with a sequel.
Recently, a media report suggested that the show will have a digital sequel like ZEE TV's popular shows Jamai Raja and Qubool Hai. Although the show will have fresh faces as starcast. But SpotboyE.com has it, the show's main lead will be again played by none other than Ankita Lokhande. "The actress will continue playing Archana Deshmukh in the show. However Manav Deshmukh's character which was originally played by Sushant will be portrayed by a new face. The show is already being written and the hunt for new Manav is also on," says a source close to the show. Ankita who started her career with Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj played the main lead in Pavitra Rishta for the longest time and later moved to big screen by doing films like Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and Baaghi 3. With the digital sequel of Pavitra Rishta, Ankita will mark her debut on the OTT space.
In Qubool Hai 2.0, Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover made a comeback together after 8 long years whereas Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma reunited for Jamai Raja 2.0 after a couple of years.
