Aranyak Teaser OUT: Raveena Tandon As A Cop Facing The SuperNatural Element Will Surely Get You Excited
Aranyak is directed by Vinay Waikul and bankrolled by Roy Kapur Films. The series marks Raveena Tandon's digital debut and is expected to release this year.
Netflix India today, during their Tudum: India Spotlight, released the teaser of the highly anticipated series Aranyak starring Raveen Tandon, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Ashutosh Rana. The series will mark the Andaaz Apna Apna actress's digital web debut. Aranyak is a supernatural crime thriller directed by Vinay Waikul and bankrolled by Roy Kapur Films, and the show-runner of the series will be Rohan Sippy of Ramesh Sippy Entertainment. In the teaser released today, one can see Raveena as a cop facing the supernatural element in a dense forest with almost ease along with Ashutosh Rana. The clip has already got us excited for the show.
In the series, Raveena Tandon plays a cop who digs up skeletons and revives a forgotten Himalayan myth of a bloodthirsty, serial killing entity in the forest while investigating the disappearance of a teenage tourist. Netflix in March released the first look of the actress in a cop uniform which created a lot of buzz around the show. Raveena also took to her Instagram account and shared the picture. She wrote, "Pesh karte hai, Netflix and LITERAL CHILLS. I’m happy to announce I will be part of the @netflix_in Original Series Aranyak that follows two cops on a journey to find a missing tourist and revives the myth of a bloodthirsty entity in the forest."
During a press conference, speaking about her character Raveena had said, “Aranyak is a mysterious, intriguing story based in Himachal. My character’s name is Kasturi Dogra. Kasturi struggles to balance her personal and professional life, like many women. This is her story."
