Bhram Trailer: Kalki Koechlin’s Hallucination Drama Is Spooky To The Core
Kalki Koechlin's upcoming web series Bhram has ample spine-chilling moments. Going by the trailer it promises to take you on a mysterious journey through the woods from Kalki’s perspective and a back story which runs parallel with it
“Mysteries of the past, illusions of the present, may lead you to the truth that lies on the other side!” captioned the official Instagram handle of Zee 5 as they the shared trailer of their upcoming series titled Bhram. Starring Kalki Keochlin, Sanjay Suri and Bhoomika Chawla, trailer opens on Kalki hallucinating about someone’s presence and setting out to find the truth behind it. The trailer is spooky enough to give us goosebumps and Kalki aptly pulls off her onscreen character, leaving the audience thrilled and wanting to know more.
Kalki hallucinates about seeing some girl in the garden and also mentions about knowing the house despite of her first visit there. Trailer has couple of disturbing images and incidences, leaving us with several questions and urge to know more. She plays a novelist who is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Actress Bhoomika plays Kalki’s onscreen sister who is baffled with her sister's behaviour. Trailer also has a narration indicating about someone’s return who shall not spare anyone.
This eight episode series went on floors in July 2019 in Shimla. It is penned by K Hari Kumar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Kalki too shared the trailer on her Instagram handle.
The actress recently starred in the second season of the most anticipated web show Sacred Games 2. Her character Batya left the audience with several doubts and questions.
Also on the silver screen she was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s award film Gully Boy which released in February 2019.
