But still sometimes the cons of using social media outweighs the pros of it for some of the users.
Actress Tanvi Shinde, who was last seen in Broken But Beautiful 3, shares her opinion on the positive and negative impacts of social media in our lives. "Social media generates a sense of positive energy and keeps me motivated to do better and reminds me that there’s so much yet to explore. It feels so good to express and share my emotions through words, pictures, videos and artwork. It's inspiring to see what others are upto and get inspired by their work. Apart from gaining knowledge on something, it also helps me keep entertained when I have the free time," said Tanvi. Adding to the same, she says, "But sometimes the cons of using social media can hamper its user's mental peace if we don't discipline ourselves. The black hole power of social media can easily disturb its user's sanity. The anxiety sometimes gets subconsciously built with the pressure of keeping up with what's happening around us. Also, the nature of falsehood is associated with it. What you see on social media isn't the complete reality. It's just the highlights of one's good moments in their lives. Trolling can also break you down majorly. According to me, these are some of the worrisome issues." Lastly, on being asked if she's ever been trolled, Tanvi says, "I haven't been trolled majorly just yet but there have been some strange comments and messages but I choose to ignore it and do not entertain those people. Haters will continue to hate and try to dim your light but my mindset isn't weak enough to allow them to disturb it."
