Netflix’s Delhi Crime in 2019, recreating the horrific gangrape and death of Nirbhaya, shook the nation’s conscience. Very few web shows in India have had a similar impact. Fans of Delhi Crime(including yours truly) would be happy to know that Season 2 of Delhi Crime is ready for streaming.
Shooting down reports of some re-shooting a spokesperson from Netflix says, “Nothing has been re-shot. That’s for sure.”
Confirming the same Shefali Shah who plays the female lead of a hard-nosed no-nonsense cop says,“Besides maybe some patchwork Season 2 of Delhi Crime is ready. I am very excited about it, and looking forward to it.”
Rajesh Tailang who plays a cop is also looking forward to it. “The shooting is over. The release date is yet to be announced.”
Actor Adil Hussain who plays another pivotal role in Delhi Crime says, “I know it’s going to streaming soon. We did seven days of the remaining shooting after the Covid lockdown. But no re-shooting.”
