Girgit: Nakul Sahdev On His Character Ranbir Khetan; 'It Is One Of The Most Peculiar Roles I've Done So Far'
Helmed by Santosh Shetty, Girgit is an upcoming MX Player crime-thriller web series that is making a huge buzz right now. For the uninitiated, the 7-part series revolves around the murder investigation of a very dysfunctional relationship that only gets more and more complicated as the case progresses. The trailer was released a few days ago and it received an amazing response. In case you haven't already; check out the trailer right here:

Nakul Sahdev, who has impressed the audiences with his work in Gully Boy, Lifes Good etc, is a part of the series. He will be seen in a never seen before avatar. In Girgit, Nakul will be seen playing the lead character of Ranbir Khaitan.

Talking about his character, he said, "It is one of the most peculiar roles that I have done so far. Playing the lead in Girgit has made me deep dive into and explore some of the darkest emotions that we all unknowingly possess and bring them out on screen. It is a very unusual take on something as beautiful as love that might surprise the audience, but at the same time, it's very engaging with some unexpected twists that will keep them hooked to the screens."

The character, Ranbir Khaitan in the series, is shamelessly himself in the series. Yes, he drinks a lot. He sleeps with a lot of women. He says exactly what’s on his mind and he is capable of everything. Nothing is impossible in his world.

Girgit is directed by Santosh Shetty and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Apart from Nakul, the series also features Trupti Khamkar, Aleksandar Illic, Tanya Kalrra, Ashmita Jaggi, Samar Vermani among others in pivotal roles. You can catch the upcoming crime-thriller on ALTBalaji and subsequently on MX Player on October 27.
