Harshita Gaur, who played Divyanaka Tripathi in Priyank Sharma and Siddharth Sharma starrer Puncch Beat is all set to make an exit from the series. The teen drama series which showcases the story of four students from one of the prestigious schools in India streamed it's part one two years back, is now shooting for it's season 2.
However, SpotboyE.com has learnt that Harshita's character will be killed in the sequel within a few episodes and a new actress will enter in Rahat Sharma (Priyank Sharma) and Ranbir Chowdhary (Siddharth Sharma) life. A source close to the show tells us, "Harshita who played the central character in the show will die in the upcoming season in the initial episodes. Post which she will make an exit from the franchise and a new girl will be introduced in the very same season. It is because Harshita's date of shooting for the series was clashing with her film dates. The actress showed her concern to the makers and didn't want to be a part of season 2. However, being the integral part of the plot, creatives planned a proper exit for her character than replacing the actress and convinced her to shoot two 3-4 day schedules." Due to COVID-19, a lot of shows went on hold for shooting and one such show is Puncch Beat 2 which was announced to have a Season 2, immediately after the first part was aired. Although it was in December 2020, Priyank Sharma shared the good news with fans that he has once again started shooting for his much loved character of Rahat (Boxer) by sharing behind the scenes pictures on social media.
The series was created by Bigg Boss 14 challenger and famous creative, writer and producer Vikas Gupta. But after his fall out with Priyank Sharma, Gupta informed the franchise will be continued but he will not be a part of it.
Coming to Harshita Gaur, the actress was last seen in Mirzapur 2.
