Fans of Tom Hiddleston have been pretty excited for the Marvel Studios series Loki. The highly anticipated series will debut on June 9 on Disney+, and a month before its premiere, the makers have released a brand-new poster, giving glimpses of some of the major characters in the series. The poster shows Tom Hiddleston as Loki, at the center, in a Time Variance Authority outfit. He is surrounded by other members including Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), Ravonna Lexus Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), TVA soldier Hunter (Wunmi Mosaku), and finally an animated clock which is shown to have a face, arms and legs.
Marvel Studios shared the poster on Twitter along with the caption, “Time to begin the countdown Marvel Studios' #Loki arrives in four weeks with new episodes every Wednesday starting June 9 on @DisneyPlus..”The animated clock character has left fans intrigued, and it has become a topic of discussion on Twitter. While one fan wrote, “I have no idea what that animated clock(?) is but that definitely fits the weird tone #Loki is going for,” another one tweeted, “The animated clock mascot is just the exact amount absurdity I need in a series centered on Loki.”
The trailer of Loki released last month, and left fans super-excited for the upcoming series. Loki will be seen traveling through time, in this series, attempting to fix and restore reality.
Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E Grant. The animated clock character also makes a brief cameo in the trailer of Loki, and is also featured in Loki merch as ‘Miss Minutes’.
