Sunflower: Sunil Grover Looks Intriguing As Sonu In Zee5’S Upcoming Web Series
ZEE5 announces a unique murder mystery laced with dark humor – SUNFLOWER with Sunil Grover. The web series is all set to release on 11th June 2021.
After releasing the logo of the series in February this year, the makers have now unveiled the first look poster of the show featuring Sunil Grover as Sonu was revealed today by the makers. Not revealing much about the story the poster is very distinctive as it has Sunil showing his finger towards his squint eye encircled with a crime setting. Along with the actor, the show also features Ranvir Shorey as Inspector Digendra, his team-mate Girish Kulkarni as Inspector Tambe, Ashish Vidyarthi as Dilip Iyer, Mukul Chadda as Mr. Ahuja, Radha Bhatt as his wife Mrs. Ahuja and joined by Ashish Kaushal as Raj Kapoor, Shonali Nagrani as Mrs. Raj Kapoor and Saloni Khanna, amongst others.
Sunflower is the story of a middle-class housing society in Mumbai by the same name, where a murder takes place which is followed by a police investigation. The show has thrill, comedy, and drama centered around the characters with their relatable stories, everything revolving around the housing society promises to take you on a roller-coaster ride.
It will be quite interesting to see Sunil Grover in a new and quirky avatar in this murder mystery series. A ZEE5 Original Sunflower is slated to premiere on 11th June 2021. The series is written by Queen's director Vikas Bahl who is also co-directed with Rahul Sengupta. It is produced by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co.
