Aai Kuthe Kay Karte’s Deshmukh family is surrounded by a happy atmosphere, as Arundhati and Aniruddha’s elder son Abhishek is getting married. Happy for her son, Arundhati arranges a beautiful engagement ceremony for Abhishek and Anagha’s engagement. Everyone gives an amazing performance for the couple’s engagement after which the ring ceremony happens. Anagha puts the ring on Abhishek’s finger and when it’s his turn, the ring falls out of his hands. And that’s about everything summing up the last episode.
Abhishek finds the ring but just when he tries to complete the ring ceremony, he gets interrupted by a phone call. Abhi panics after knowing that the call is from his former girlfriend Ankita. Calming him down, Anagha asks him to answer the phone. After his conversation on phone, shocked Abhi tells everyone that Ankita is hospitalized because she tried to commit suicide. Shocked by this news, Abhi gets confused. Anagha asks him to consider that their engagement is complete and rush to the hospital to see if anything is serious.
Just as soon as Abhi leaves, Sanjana starts talking about Abhi’s bad luck and tries to fake empathy. Arundhati gets suspicious and tries to remember how Sanjana was talking to someone on Abhi’s phone. She confronts Sanjana if she was the one who told Ankita about the engagement. Getting all nervous, Sanjana denies Arundhati’s allegation telling that Abhi must’ve told Ankita himself. Arundhati already knows that Abhi was avoiding contact with his ex for quite some time now. Arundhati jumps to the conclusion that it was Sanjana who tried to sabotage the relationship whereas Aniruddha sides with Sanjana.
Arundhati reveals Sanjana's plan in front of everyone. She says that she saw Sanjana talking to someone on Abhi’s phone and she tried to cut the call after seeing Arundhati. After constant pining, Sanjana ultimately confesses that she herself told Ankita about Abhi’s engagement. Enraged by this Arundhati gets furious and slaps Sanjana in front of everyone. After that Arundhati apologizes to Anagha about the unfortunate circumstances and blames Sanjana for all the trouble. Arundhati cannot stand Sanjana anymore and asks her to leave the engagement.
