Maratha History enthusiast Digpal Lanjekar is all set to launch his new historic, period cinema after the phenomenal success of ‘Farzand’. The film ‘Farzand’ was a battle of Kondaji Farzand and his warriors set against Adil Shah to recapture the Panhala Fort. It aimed at unveiling the story of unsung war hero Kondaji Farzand and his patriotic spirit to the Maratha youth.
The new film is based on Farzand’s guru, leader, idol, and founder of the Maratha empire, the great king Shivaji Maharaj. It is a tale of his extraordinary battle skills and valour. ‘Fatteshikast’ will be a story of India’s first surgical strike on a foreign invader. The first look of the film reveals Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead role. His powerful look and aggressive stance looks battle-ready.

The film will star, Chinmay Mandlekar in a leading role. Mrinal Kulkarni, Nikhil Raut, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Mrinmayi Deshpande, Astad Kale, are some of the prominent faces which will be seen in the film. Well-known Hindi actor Anoop Soni too will be a part of this film, in fact, he will make his debut in Marathi with ‘Fatteshikast’.
