Actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar is one of the most amazing actors and directors that the whole Indian film industry has. Whether it came to acting or directing films, Mahesh never disappointed his fans. With his upcoming directorial military drama series getting closer to the date of the premiere, the actor blessed fans with an announcement of a new Bollywood film.
Sharing the poster of his upcoming Hindi film Mumbai Saga, the actor made a teaser announcement on social media.
Starring renowned actor John Abraham in the lead role of Aartrya Rao a famous gangster, the film has a powerful star cast containing various renowned actors like Emraan Hashmi, Suneil Shetty, Kajal Agarwal, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover, Prateik Babbar, Amole Gupte as well as Mahesh Manjrekar. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is produced under the banner of T-series. As it has been mentioned in the poster, the film is set to release on the 19th of March, this year.
Based on a true story, the film is an action crime thriller that depicts the story of Bombay becoming Mumbai. The teaser of the series has released today and it has been shared by Mahesh as well. The teaser looks awesome as it is filled with action. John and everyone’s look in the film look fantastic making them look perfect for a gangster film. Talking about Mahesh, the actor seems to be playing the role of a politician in the film, judging by his attire and look in the teaser.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahesh will soon be blessing fans with his upcoming action crime directorial film Antim, which is a Hindi adaptation of Pravin Tarde’s blockbuster film, Mulshi Pattern. The film stars actors Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan in the lead roles.
