Marathi Actor Veera Sathidar From The Critically Acclaimed Movie 'Court' Passes Away Due To COVID-19
Writer, singer and actor Veera Sathidar breathed his last on Monday night in Nagpur. The late actor was seen in critically acclaimed movie, Court, he was undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at AIIMS hospital in Nagpur, where he breathed his last as per reports in the media. The late actor was diagnosed with deadly Coronavirus last week, followed by which was hospitalised for treatment. But his condition only deteriorated, leading to the actor leaving for heavenly abode.

The late actor was born in Nagpur in 1960 and before trying his hands at acting he was a cowherd. Followed by Veera beginning to take interest in folk art and music, only he connected to performing art, he was also inclined towards literature that included sculpture and painting.  The actor carved a niche for himself in the field of arts right art, acting, literature and rebel movement. His movie Court also won The National Award and was nominated for Oscar.

The late actor has played a part of a rebel artist in the movie, helmed by debut director Chaitanya Tamhane. The movie premiered at the 71st Venice International Film Festival; it had its theatrical release on March 23, 2015. The film was shot over three years.


He was also seen in musical short film Chronicles of Shree released in April 2019 and Aadha Chand Tum Rakh Lo as per his IMDB page. The actor had probably done 3 films after he began acting.
