It has been a long time now since Planet Marathi announced the first-ever Marathi OTT platform. The work on this platform started with an aim to form new opportunities for Marathi content creators and to give Marathi audiences across the globe, their very own Marathi platform for entertainment. Thus, the excitement about this platform hasn’t calmed down among the audience, to this date. And with the launch of the platform coming near, the audience has been creating a major uproar all over social media.

For a while now the official Twitter handle of Planet Marathi OTT has been sharing some videos of various Marathi celebrities expressing their feelings for the platform as OTT Stories. And the recent most OTT Story was about actor Pushkar Shrotri’s expressing his feelings over the launch of the platform.


Sharing his excitement with fans, the actor talked about how a small idea has now become the most awaited thing in the Marathi industry. While talking about the platform, the actor said that the seed of this tree meaning the idea of this platform came to him during the period of April-May in 2020. The small idea started taking shape into a real thing as more and more people kept adding to the team of Planet Marathi. At the end talking about the launch of the platform, Pushkar said that the platform will be launched pretty soon. But taking the current situation into consideration, the team is facing some difficulties at the moment. Thus, the platform will take a while to get launched but it won’t take much longer!

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor recently appeared in his newly started Marathi TV series Sun Sasu Sun.
