Pranit Kulkarni breathed his last in Pune after a long illness.
Marathi Cinema's popular director and notable lyricist Pranit Kulkarni passed away in Pune due to COVID-19 complications; he was also fighting a battle with cancer. The acclaimed singer Avdhoot Gupte took to his social media platforms to mourn the demise of Pranit. He captioned the post - हे काय चाललंय? काय काय ऐकायला मिळतंय? "ऊन ऊन व्हट्टातून.." चे सूर, नरेन्द्र च्या रुपाने विरुन काही महीनेच होताहेत तोवर #PranitKulkarniच्या रुपाने शब्द देखील हरपल्याची वार्ता?!! #OmShanti(What's going on ? How much do we have to hear? Pranit Kulkarni helmed Marathi film Deool Band in the year 2015 and also wrote lyrics for songs in movies like “Mulshi Pattern” in the year 2018 and Huntash in the year 2017. Pranit Kulkarni lived with his mother, wife and daughter in Maharashtra.
