Sakal Sanman 2021: Akshay Bardapurkar Hosts Varun Dhawan And Rohit Shetty With An Award
Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty got honoured by Sakal Sanman for their Humanitarian efforts.
Many people have lost their lives and jobs l due to the Corona virus and pandemic. And to help to save the lives of these innocent people many celebrities have came forward to use their platform to bring awareness about the things happening in the world and have also donated lakhs of money to the government to help the people in need.
Bollywood superstar Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty who also helped to raise money and funds for the helpless people had been honoured on the Sakal Sanman 2021 for their humanitarian work in the Corona virus impelled lockdown.
Varun Dhawan raised Rs 30 lakh to PM-CARES and Rs 25 lakh to Maharashtra CM reduction fund and he also distributed free meals for the healthcare workers. The Simba director, Rohit Shetty donated Rs 51 lakh to Federation of Western India Cine Workers to supply monetary assist to everyday wage staff within the Hindi movie trade.
The both superstars were given the Sakal Sanman award hosted by Akshay Bardapurkar for their heroic and humanitarian work. The event was held in Prabhadevi’s Ravindra Natyamandira in Mumbai on Saturday. The award was attended by Maharashtra's Chief Minister Udhav Thakarey and also Sharad Pawar.
Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty both shared their gratitude for their meaningful award and are really glad to be able to serve their own country.
