LV Revanth has been crowned the winner of Indian Idol 9 in a grand finale which saw none other than cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar join the fun.
In the finale, which concluded just a few minutes ago, Khuda Baksh became the first runner-up while PVNS Rohit was voted into third place.

Revanth was a fan favourite and the interesting part is that his association with the music industry is some 200 songs old. He has a long list of songs in Telugu films and rose to fame with the number, Manohari, from Baahubali: The Beginning .

Revanth and PVNS Rohit come from Andhra Pradesh while Khuda Baksh hails from a small town in Punjab.

Other than their performances, the finale had many other highlights, including  Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin was there to launch the song Cricket Waali Beat, sung by Sonu Nigam, and brought along his wife Anjali and daughter Sara who cheered him on.

LV Revanth, PVNS Rohit and Khuda Baksh, won the hearts of many with their power packed performances including the judges of the show – Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik and Farah Khan.

After Revanth was crowned the winner, Farah Khan announced that she will give him a song in her next film, as the audience clapped on.

Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani were among the Bollywood stars who made it to the finale.
