Pritam To Compose Music For Sanjay Dutt Biopic?
Pritam created magic for Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and now he may be asked to repeat the feat for the Sanjay Dutt biopic
Ranbir Kapoor has
spent the past few months getting ready to step into the shoes of Sanjay Dutt
for the actor’s biopic being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
And now the
makers are scouting for a music composer for the ambitious project which also
stars Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

can tell you that the name on top of their shortlist is none other than Pritam.
Pritam delivered
some of his best work in 2016 with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
which boasted of a superhit soundtrack and Aamir Kahan starrer Dangal.

And now buzz is,
Pritam will once again be teaming up with Ranbir for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.
As per a source,
“There were a few names which were considered for the film, but as of now
Pritam definitely tops the list. The producers feel that Pritam’s music would
definitely suit the script. Also Pritam happens to be Ranbir’s favourite thus
they find him apt for the film. However, they are yet to inform the composer
about the decision.”

We contacted Raju
Hirani and Pritam, who did not respond to our calls and text messages.
Prior to this we
also told you that director Karan Johar had roped in Pritam for Ranbir Kapoor
and Alia Bhatt starrer Dragon.
Pritam had also
composed a couple of songs for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees, including the
romantic track Zaalima.
