Union Minister and singer Babul Supriyo tweeted about testing positive for the novel Coronavirus for the second time. He mentioned his wife also tested positive. In his tweets, he expressed being sad that he won’t be able to vote for the upcoming Asanol election. He also shared that he desperately wanted to be part of the rally for the 26th poll. He assured to support his party’s candidate to the fullest, as he follows the safety measure.
His Tweet read, “Both me & my wife have tested positive. Me for the 2nd time!! V Sad that I won't be able to vote in Asansol. I needed to be there on the road too for the 26th polls where "desperate'' @AITCofficial goons hv already unleashed their terror machinery to disrupt free & fair polls.” He also aims to win all nine seats in the upcoming election. He also assured the rival party will not have the advantage despite his absence, as he will be doing his duties from his quarantine zone.
