After Ram Sampath recreated the cult hit Laila O Laila from the film Qurbani (1980) for Raees, here’s another song from the film- Zaalima, which shows SRK and Mahira romancing amidst dunes, water and more.
Shah Rukh Khan created a strong buzz in past two days by releasing audio posters of the song with his rustic voice that reminded us of Jab Tak Hai Jaan but we missed that in the actual song!
After Dilwale, Arijit Singh has yet again lent his voice to Shah Rukh Khan and boy, it suits him so well! The last time Arijit sung for Shah Rukh Geruha and Janam Janam, both the songs went on to become chartbusters.
Talking about Shah Rukh and Mahira’s chemistry, it has left us surprised. Of course, SRK is the romance king and it’s rare that he disappoints us on that front, but we never imagined that his chemistry with Mahira will be this crackling. Especially, the last few sequences in a water pool, where Shah Rukh passionately holds Mahira close to him and exchanges those intense looks...we’re sure the girls out there have already started drooling!

The music is composed by Pritam and the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Harshdeep Kaur has lent her voice to Mahira Khan. The singer duo has also done a marvellous job in accentuating this magical chemistry.
You may recall that SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you that Pritam is composing two songs for Raees out of which SRK will definitely take one. Turns out, that Zaalima is the one (Shah Rukh Makes Raees Richer, Adds 2 Songs By Pritam, Dec 14).
Raees is set to release on January 25 and will clash with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.
