Shah Rukh Makes Raees Richer, Adds 2 Songs By Pritam
Their last collaboration was the superhit number Gerua and now Shah Rukh Khan and Pritam will collaborate on a romantic number featuring Mahira Khan
We got a taste of the fast-paced score of Raees when Shah Rukh Khan launched the trailer of his much awaited film last week (RAEES TRAILER OUT: Shah Rukh's New Smooth Criminal Avatar Will Stun You,

For the past few days, the industry has been abuzz with whispers that the makers of the film want to add two more songs to the soundtrack of the film, including a romantic number starring the film's leading lady, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.

The producers started scouting for a composer and many names including Anu Malik were approached for the same. But it is Pritam who made the cut.
A source close to Pritam confirmed the news and said, “Pritam has composed a couple of songs for the film out of which one is definitely going to be included in Raees. The song could be shot in Morocco or Dubai as Shah Rukh's schedule already includes a visit to these places.”

It was made clear that Mahira will not return to the country to promote the film.
And now, Shah Rukh is set to serenade her on foreign shores. Buzz is, it is currently a toss-up between Dubai and Morocco.
Raees is scheduled for a January 25 release.
Ram Sampath has already remade the cult hit Laila O Laila from the film Qurbani (1980) for Raees and we even got a glimpse of the item number by Sunny Leone in the trailer.
