In a shocking turn of series, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has passed the clearance of chopping of around 2,702 trees in the Aarey Forest, to make way for a Metro project. This decision has created a nationwide stir and Mumbaikars are raising their voices against it through various forms i.e., social media, petitions and protests.
