Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic death shook the entire nation. His sudden passing left the music industry and his fans with a heavy heart. On Sunday, everyone took the internet by storm as they celebrated the legend’s birthday. While everyone is awaiting the day the government will punish the perpetrators responsible for his death, they are also rejoicing in his works that revolutionised the Punjabi music industry. On the occasion of his 29th birthday, on June 11th, the late singer’s mother Charan Kaur penned a heartbreaking note.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, she shared her thoughts in the form of a post. Written in Punjabi, she expressed the happiness she had felt when she had held him in her arms for the first time. Quoted by India.com, she added, “I hope you know there was a slight redness on the small feet, who did not know that these small steps had travelled the whole world while sitting in the village, and thick eyes with which you would see and recognize the truth. She mourned her loss and expressed how she would have been by his side, helping him right his story if she had known from the beginning that he would one day become a guiding hand for the world that would follow a path of truth and righteousness. “Of course you don’t walk me around, see, I always feel you around me, son, be happy wherever you are, this is what I pray for on your birthday. For the unversed, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district in May 2022. A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar, claimed that he was responsible for the singer's murder. The late singer was among the 424 people whose security was pruned by the Punjab Police on a temporary basis.
