Prashant Neel who made his debut with the 2014 Kannada film, Ugramm, celebrates his 41st birthday today. On this special occasion, KGF actor Yash and the crew surprised the director with a heartwarming video. The makers released a very uplifting video of the director from the sets of KGF. The clips reveal Prashant's hard work, dedication towards his work and team. It video opens up by saying, "Prashant Neel- Best leader brings out only the best in his people." You can also hear Yash praising his incredible director "Prashanth Neel, I would want him to direct a Hollywood film and that's my dream. He has got that potential and he will be remembered in the Indian Cinema forever. KGF is just a beginning guy," he says.

He further says, "He is yet to explore himself and his talent and I think KGF will show what he is capable of. From the soil of Karnataka to the scale of Indian Cinema, he paved a new path fr aspiring directors," Hombale Films also shared the video on Twitter wrote, "A man of few words but a captain who takes his team along to heights..Wishing our dearest @prashanth_neel a very Happy Birthday..Can’t wait to celebrate #KGFChapter2 #Salaar on the big screen."

With part 1 being a superhit, Yash returns to continue the story of Kolar Goldfields, and this time he is joined by Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles. The period action film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
