Drishyam 2: Mohanlal Opens Up On Usage Of Social Media, Mentions It Needs To Have A Little Respect And Belief
Mohanlal speaks about the rise in the usage of social media in everyone’s life and shares he has set any boundaries for himself
As Drishyam 2 nears its release, fans of Malayalam star Mohanlal can’t contain their happiness and excitement to watch the actor deliver a marvellous performance on screen. In conversation with ZoomTV, the actor spoke about the upcoming sequel, his onscreen character, his work experience with director Jeetu Joseph and also rise in usage of social media. The actor during his conversation sheds light on how the entertainment industry uses social media to the fullest.
The actor commenting on it, though mentioned he doesn’t have any problem as now the world is open. He said, “I don't have any problem. The world is so open. It is not only for me, but it's also for each and everyone.” But he feels everyone present on social media should have some respect and belief. Adding further he said, “some kind of respect and belief.” When asked if he has set a few guidelines for himself when it comes to social media, he mentioned having no limitation set for himself.
The actor said, “I don't draw any lines. I am comfortable.”
Speaking about the upcoming sequel which is set to premiere on February 19, 2021, he said, “When you do a film, and a sequel, you know the entire character, the family and the incidents, you have the script you know what's going to happen, you know everything; so it's a make-believe thing. Shedding light on his onscreen character he said, “Georgekutty is a very mysterious character and looking at him, you will go Waah! He's a family man, there's a lot of family bonding, love and everything is there. To play Georgeoutty, for me as an actor, it's a blessing.”
When asked about his onscreen character in real life how far he can go to save his family, he laughed and replied, “My God, I try and say only when such things happen. Definitely, we have to save our family in whichever way we can, no doubt.
