The megastar Rajinikanth’s “Annaatthe” is one the highly anticipated movie of the year 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shoot was put on hold thereby delaying the release of the film. Now, the fans of Thaliava have the good news! The wait is over and the makers have finally revealed the release date of the film. The Makers of Annaatthe Sun Pictures wrote on their official Twitter account, “AnnaattheDeepavali Ku Ready Ah?!  (#Annaatthe will be releasing on November 4th, 2021! Get ready for #AnnaattheDeepavali!”). The news drove fans of Rajanikanth crazy and they are expressing their happiness by re-twitting and good wishes in the comment section.

“Annaatthe” is bankrolled by Sun Pictures, directed by Siruthai Siva, Annaatthe cast includes big names of the Indian Film Industry like Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, and Soori in important roles. D Imman is taking care of the direction of music.

Reportedly, the makers will soon announce the resume of shooting soon. As per the reports, “Annaatthe’s”  movie shoot came to a halt post 4 crew members tested positive for COVID 19. Even the Rajanikant was also not keeping well; his blood pressure fluctuated as he observed self-quarantine. Due to this difficult situation, the makers put on hold the shooting process for time being.

For fans, after having discharged from the hospital the megastar Rajanikanth updated his social media about the decision making a statement that he has opt to out from politics. He wrote - “People will have opinions on my decision to not enter politics. But I don’t want to make my followers scapegoat for people’s opinions. I request my followers and Rajini Makkal Mandram members to forgive me, as they will be disappointed. All the efforts that my followers took in the three years, even during the pandemic will not be wasted. Rajini Makkal Mandram will function as always. I will serve my people without entering politics and stand up for them if any unjust is done”.
