The popular Tamil actor Samuthirakani is featured in a crime thriller “Writer”. He is essaying the role of a cop and can be seen solving a murder mystery. Reportedly, “Writer is a remake of Bollywood’s critically acclaimed film “ Andhadhun“. Actor Samuthirakani is very active on social media and in his recent post he has twitted the posters of his upcoming movie. He captioned the post – “வெல்வோம்...(We will Win)”. The fans have poured their love and like into this post.
Thiagarajan is the director of the movie and he narrated about that movie- “I’d been following up with Samuthirakani for a while. He had a busy schedule, but he has given continuous dates for the film because he really loved the role. It’s a very powerful character. We will start shooting with him from today, and wrap up his portions in 10 days.” The filmmaker also informs that they have completed half of the film and says. “We have a small schedule left each in Chennai and Puducherry, and then, we’ll be going to one of the European countries for three days. We had to drop our London plan because of the lockdown there.” Further, he added, “We’ve already finished shooting with KS Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, and Urvashi. We will shoot with Karthik as soon as he is back home and gets better health-wise. We’ve erected quite a few sets in Chennai and cinematographer Ravi Yadav has done a fab job. Because we’ve been following all COVID-19 protocols, it has been a smooth process so far.”
The other prominent star cast in the movies is KS Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, and Urvashi and Karthik.
