It is funny that Selvaraghavan’s interest in Christianity and Christian imagery has never been a focal point of film discussions. In his directorial debut, Kadhal Kondein fame Vinoth grew up in a Christian orphanage, managed by a character played by Nagesh in “Nenjam Marappathillai”.

Recently, ZeeTamil has posted a teaser of the hilarious horror film “Nenjam Marappathillai” on their official Twitter handles. To which SJ Suryah reacts by re-twitted the same twit. He captioned the post- “nice teaser edit …. Coming Sunday #NMI @ZEE5Tamil television premiere May 30th, 1.30 pm”.

Meanwhile, SJ Suryah has also promised that like his character in Nenjam Marappathillai, followers will certainly like his Rajkumar character in 'Bommai'. Director Radha Mohan’s “Bommai” features SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles.SJ Suryah also features as the antagonist against Silambarasan in the political thriller “Maanadu”, and he can be seen as a cop.
