While fans are eagerly waiting for Thala Ajith's Valimai, the latest reports suggest that he has already signed his next film. Yes, you read that right! This film will mark the third collaboration between Ajith Kumar, producer Boney Kapoor and director H Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valmai. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Thala Ajith has reportedly loved the script and shooting for the same will soon go on floors.

The source revealed, "The basic premise, plot and screenplay of Thala 61 is locked. Ajith Kumar has loved the story, which is loaded with action and thrills. The pre-production of the film is going on in full swing as the makers intend to take it on the floors in the month of July." The source further added that Thala Ajith is super excited to explore an altogether different aspect of action in his next film.

If everything goes as planned, the film's shooting will start much before the release of his film Valimia. According to the source, the powerful script resulted in him signing the next film even before Valimai releases. The film is expected to hit the theatre screen during summer next year, and 'the idea is to wrap up the shoot in fact by the end of this year.'

Meanwhile, fans and followers of the superstar are eagerly waiting for Valimai. The film was in the news after the team decided to postpone the first look reveal of the film. Boney Kapoor shared the news on Twitter and wrote, "At the time of making the announcement, none of us had even anticipated that the second wave of Coronavirus would spread across India like a tsunami. At this moment, lakhs of Indians are affected by financial hardship and emotional trauma due to loss of family members and friends.." Soon after the announcement, many fans showed support, while some were disappointed.
