Earlier, S. Thaman was the music director for “Thalapathy 65” under the direction of AR Murugadoss but he missed the chance after the director stepped out of the film. Post missing few chances, Thaman is eager to direct music for his favorite actor Vijay for the first time. 

Talking on the career tree of Thaman is a music composer who composes music for Tamil and Telugu films. He made his debut in his film career as an actor in “Shankar's Boys”, before establishing himself as a prominent music director in the South Indian film industries. His full name is Ghantasala Sai Srinivas Thaman Siva Kumar, popularly known and credited as S. Thaman. He belongs from a cinema background. He is the Grandson of the acclaimed director and producer Ghantasala Balaramaiah. He is knotted nuptial knot with playback singer Srivardhini.
