Mahesh Babu is one of the most talented Tollywood actors, currently revelling in the success of his recent film Guntur Kaaram, he recently unveiled an interesting aspect of the movie's production. In a recent interaction, he disclosed that during the shoot, where his character is frequently seen smoking beedis, he initially used real ones. In response, the filmmakers arranged for herbal beedis crafted from clove leaves, providing a healthier alternative for the rest of the film. Emphasizing his stance against smoking, Mahesh Babu clarified, "I don't smoke and won't encourage smoking as well. It was an Ayurvedic beedi made of clove leaves." He further said "Trivikram (Srinivas) conducted research and found an Ayurvedic beedi for me, which I found quite pleasant. Formerly known as SSMB28, the movie Guntur Kaaram hit theatres on January 13, receiving widespread acclaim among the audience. Alongside Mahesh Babu, the Telugu action film features a stellar cast including Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Sunil in pivotal roles.




Guntur Kaaram continues its robust performance at the box office, amassing an impressive Rs 94.50 crore within just five days in India. On the global stage, the film has surpassed the Rs 150 crore milestone and is swiftly advancing towards the coveted Rs 200 crore club.
