Mega Prince Varun Tej is currently busy with his upcoming movie Ghani, which is touted to be the first-ever sports drama in his career. The actor has undergone intensive training to fit in into his role. Now the latest news around the film is that the boxing drama will have action sequences composed by Hollywood-based choreographers Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg. As per the producer, a major boxing episode will be shot in a huge stadium set in Hyderabad
Producer Sidhu Mudda said, "In the upcoming schedule, besides action portions, crucial sequences on Varun Tej and other major cast members will be canned. Our Art Director has designed a huge stadium set for the purpose. Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg, the Hollywood stunt masters who have previously worked on Titans and the Bollywood movie Sultan, will work on the action portions. Once the schedule is over, we will announce the release date of Ghani."
Due to the second wave of coronavirus, the shoot is currently paused and it will resume once the situation becomes normal. "Seventy percent of the shoot of Ghani has been completed. The next schedule will commence once the second wave subsides. The film has the backdrop of boxing. During the ongoing lockdown, Varun Tej is practicing boxing," he adds. Ghani marks the directorial debut of Kiran Korrapati and Ace producer Allu Aravind is presenting this sports drama, which is produced by Sidhu Mudda of Renaissance Films and Allu Bobby of Allu Bobby Company. The awaited film is in the production stage.
In Ghani, Varun Tej will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. The film also features, Saiee Mukerjee, Upendra, Suneil Shetty, and Naveen Chandra are playing pivotal roles. Music sensation SS Thaman has done the music. George C Williams is the director of photography of this film.
