Khiladi: Ravi Teja's Action Film Postponed Due To Covid Rise, New Release Date To Be Announced Soon
With the rise in Covid cases, several filmmakers who had announced the release date of their films at the beginning of this year are now being forced to reconsider their previously announced release dates. After Acharya, Naga Chaitanya's Love Story, and Rana Daggubati's Virata Parvam, Ravi Teja starrer Khiladi is the latest film being pushed. A new release date is yet to be announced by the makers, but it is most likely to be announced when the covid situation is under control

The film was supposed to hit theatres on 28th May this year, however, looking at the situation the makers have now changed their mind. Director Ramesh Varma announced they are postponing the release with a Twitter Post, "Keeping the current #Covid19 Pandemic in mind, Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl's #Khiladi has been postponed! A New Release Date will be announced soon."

In April, the first-look teaser of Ravi Teja in dual roles was unveiled. The teaser itself created a lot of buzz among his fans who were super excited to see the hero in a massy avatar. Khiladi will see the actor-director duo back on the big screen after Veera which was released in 2011.  The film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, while Arjun Sarja, Nikitin Dheer, and Unni Mukundan, will be seen in pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and is produced by Pen Movies and A Studio LLP
